WARNING: This article contains spoilers for the ending of Power, including who shot Ghost.

The Power series finale has now aired, and fans are divided over showrunner Courtney Kemp's decision to make Tariq St. Patrick (played by Michael Rainey Jr.) the person who killed Ghost (Omari Hardwick) in the Starz series. Fans not happy with the decision, however, may like to know that at least six alternate endings exist somewhere, with all seven suspects appearing in their own scenes.

In an interview with TVLine, Power showrunner Courtney Kemp said that the team shot scenes where Tariq, Tasha (Naturi Naughton), Tate (Laurenz Tate), Paz (Elizabeth Rodriguez), Cooper Saxe (Shane Johnson) and Dre (Rotimi Akinosho), "all in one night. It was very intense."

Speaking of which of the fake endings is her favorite, she said: "Tommy's [Joseph Sikora] was amazing. Joe's performance, which no one will ever see, was amazing. It was amazing. But you know, we were not going to have Tommy do it. So none of the actors knew who was going to do it at that time, so they were all giving 100 percent, because they didn't know."

When asked whether fans would ever get to see these alternative endings, she said, "I would love to, if Starz would let me. I don't always get to win that one, you know?"

However, some fans may have already seen one of these alternative endings. In January, Power executive producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson shared a (now deleted) Instagram video which saw Tasha shoot her husband. In the video, we hear her say, "I can't let you destroy my son" before she pulls the trigger.

The existence of these alternate endings was first revealed in November 2019 when Kemp told Deadline: "I will say we've filmed a lot of different things because things get leaked in the Power world all the time, you know. It turns out that very often content slips away from us, so we've got a lot of different endings and false endings, real endings and truthful endings, all in the can."

Power is far from the first show to film fake endings to prevent leaks. For The Walking Dead Season 7 midseason finale, for example, the crew shot Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killing 11 different cast members to find the identity of the true murdered person. Game of Thrones, meanwhile, flew Jon Snow actor Kit Harington all the way to Croatia to confuse paparazzi by having him appear to shoot scenes with Lena Headey.

Power Season 6 is streaming now on the Starz app.
