Powerball players had the opportunity to win a huge $1 billion jackpot on Halloween night on Monday.

How To Play Powerball
Powerball tickets can be found in local grocery stores and other authorized lottery retailers.
You can only buy Powerball tickets in 45 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. If you are not from one of those states, you can still participate in Powerball by purchasing tickets in a permitted state.
Each play costs $2 or with a $3 Powerplay option, allowing players in certain jurisdictions to multiply non-jackpot winnings.
Powerballers can select five numbers from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and then one number from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.
