Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's "controversial conscious uncoupling from the crown" is being turned into a Lifetime movie.
Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace will chart the breakdown of relations behind palace walls in the months after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's son Archie was born in May 2019.
TV Line quoted an official synopsis saying the focus would be "the couple's controversial conscious uncoupling from the crown, after the birth of their son Archie."
It read: "The movie details the struggles of the new parents and unique challenges of being part of the royal family, which ultimately led Harry and Meghan to give up their royal ties to forge a new life on their own terms."
The decision will mean scriptwriters and the director will have to make difficult decisions about how to portray arguments between the royals if at all.
The history behind the couple's decision to abandon their roles as senior royals is rooted in things said within the family before their wedding, according to family friends.

Prince Harry acknowledged a rift with his brother publicly for the first time during a documentary made by ITV broadcaster Tom Bradby.
The Lifetime movie will also likely depict the couple's clashes with the media in the United Kingdom which in October saw Meghan launch legal action against the Mail on Sunday.
As the cable TV network announced the release, they posted a still image on Twitter with the message: "The third Installment of the #HarryandMeghan movie franchise."

This will be the third Lifetime movie about the couple after Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance told the story of their early courtship.
The initial outing was announced two months after their engagement and ran on cable just five days before Meghan and Harry's star-studded royal wedding at Windsor Castle.
Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal then told the story of their first year of marriage.
No casting decisions have been announced.
At a speech for his charity Sentebale in January, Prince Harry explained the decision to step back from his role as a senior royal.
He said: "The decision that I have made for my wife and I to step back, is not one I made lightly. It was so many months of talks after so many years of challenges.
"And I know I haven't always gotten it right, but as far as this goes, there really was no other option.
"What I want to make clear is we're not walking away, and we certainly aren't walking away from you.
"Our hope was to continue serving the Queen, the commonwealth, and my military associations, but without public funding.
"Unfortunately, that wasn't possible. I've accepted this, knowing that it doesn't change who I am or how committed I am.
"But I hope that helps you understand what it had to come to, that I would step my family back from all I have ever known, to take a step forward into what I hope can be a more peaceful life."
