Prince Harry's praise for his daughter, Princess Lilibet, has become the focus of a new viral video, as footage of the royal describing her physical likeness to Princess Diana has resurfaced on social media site TikTok.

Lilibet is the youngest child and only daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, born in California in 2021. Nicknamed Lili, the princess's full name is Lilibet Diana, her first name being a tribute to her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and the middle name honoring her grandmother, Princess Diana.

Having been born after Harry and Meghan's sensational split from the monarchy and move to the U.S. in 2020, Lilibet has spent her earliest years out of the public eye, with only one official solo portrait of the royal being released so far.

Fans of the Sussex family, however, were provided with an unparalleled glimpse into the life of the little princess and her brother, Prince Archie, through their parents' 2022 Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan.

The six episode show charted the duke and duchess' relationship and split from the monarchy, including never-before-seen home movies and photographs of their children as they grow up.

Uploaded to TikTok by user queendianaspncer, on January 16, footage from the docuseries of Harry and Meghan discussing their daughter has gone viral, gaining over 130,000 views on the social media platform so far.

"I see a lot of my mom in Lili," he said, in praise of his daughter. "She's very Spencer-like. She's got the same blue eyes."

The Spencer reference is one to Princess Diana's maiden name of Lady Diana Spencer. The family are one of the oldest aristocratic families in Britain and the princess' father bore the title of an earl.

Harry is close to members of the Spencer family, most notably his aunts, Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale. They were both present at the Windsor Castle christening of Prince Archie in 2019.

Continuing to describe his daughter in the viral clip, Harry adds that she has "golden reddish hair" much like his own, with photographs of the prince as a child being cut together in a compilation of footage of Lilibet.

The clip has received in excess of 16,000 likes and numerous comments, many of which have praised the Sussexes and speculated on how Princess Diana would feel about her youngest son's family today.

"Princess Diana would have loved Megan and the kids," wrote one TikTok user.

"Awww This is so cute," posted another, with a further comment reading: "My favorite thing is that her name is Lilibet, what they called Queen Elizabeth as a child."

Lilibet's name has seen a revival in public interest in recent weeks, after a recently published biography of King Charles III cited a palace aide who claimed that the queen was "as angry as I'd ever seen her" when it was claimed she'd given her approval for her nickname to be used by Harry and Meghan for their daughter.

The duke and duchess did not respond to claims made in the book, however, at the time of Lilibet's birth, a spokesperson for the couple said that the queen had been the "first" person Harry had called, and that "had she not been supportive, they would not have used the name."
