The Prince and Princess of Wales' daughter, Princess Charlotte, has become the focus of a new viral video with fans praising her regal appearance and polite behavior at official public events.
Charlotte is William and Kate's second child, born in 2015, and has seen her public profile increase in the past two years, following the death of Queen Elizabeth II and accession of her grandfather, King Charles III.
The princess is currently third in the line of succession to inherit the British throne behind her father and older brother, Prince George. In 2022 she attended her first solo royal engagement with her parents, and in 2023 was present at her grandfather's coronation, as well as the Trooping the Colour celebrations and other high-profile national events.

Uploaded to TikTok by use, princesscharlottedits on February 10, a new viral post has highlighted the moment Charlotte took part in a ceremonial royal welcome at Westminster Abbey for a Christmas carol concert arranged by her mother in December 2023.
Captioned "Watch Charlotte apply royal protocol. Members of the royal family should always say hello first," the clip shows the princess following the lead of her parents and brother by expertly extending her hand to a member of the abbey clergy to shake before the service.

This traditional greeting before members of the royal family attend services at Westminster Abbey is more of a convention than an official protocol, being replicated when they are met at various other institutions during the course of their official duties.
The video has become a viral hit, being viewed over 1.9 million times on the social media site so far, gaining in excess of 121,000 likes and over 250 comments, many of which have voiced praise for the young princess.
"She was born for this. Suits her so well," wrote one TikTok user.
"She is an incredible young girl. A real credit to W&C [William and Kate]," posted another, with a further comment reading: "She has an amazing teacher/role model, her mother."
The last public appearance made by Charlotte was at the royal family's annual Christmas Day walkabout on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk. The Wales family joined King Charles and Queen Camilla, together with several other senior royals and their families for the traditional church service where they then met with well-wishers on their walk back to the main house.
The princess will celebrate her ninth birthday this year on May 2.
