Princess Charlotte's reverential gesture at a historic state event has featured in a new viral video, as a compilation of footage from the princess' high-profile public appearances wins praise from fans on social media site TikTok.
Charlotte is the only daughter of William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, born in 2015 between older brother, Prince George (born 2013) and younger brother, Prince Louis (2018).
Over the past two years, Charlotte has seen her public profile increase, beginning to attend more official engagements with her parents and moving up to the position of third in line to the throne upon the death of her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
In recent years, the princess has won praise from royal fans for her composure at important events, with a number of examples of her performing respectful curtsies to Queen Elizabeth or King Charles going viral on social media.
Uploaded to TikTok by user @mandzsky on November 25, one of the most recent examples of this is contained within a wider compilation of the princess' royal event highlights.
The opening focus of the video shows the historic moment that Charlotte performed a curtsy to her late great-grandmother, the queen's, coffin at her state funeral, which was held at Westminster Abbey on September 19, 2022.

The princess' gesture was widely commented on at the time, being made in conjunction with several other senior female members of the royal family, including Queen Camilla, Kate, Sophie the Duchess of Edinburgh, and Meghan the Duchess of Sussex.
The curtsy marked one of the last publicly offered by the royal women to the late queen before her burial in the King George VI Memorial Chapel at St George's Chapel, Windsor.
The video has been viewed over 250,000 times on TikTok so far and has received in excess of 24,000 likes and numerous comments, many of which have praised the young princess.
"Lovely Charlotte 🥰," wrote one user, with another adding: "Beautiful ❤."
A further comment read "future princess royal," in reference to the royal title of "Princess Royal," which is given by a monarch to their eldest daughter to signify their senior status within the monarchy.
Currently Princess Anne, the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II, holds the Princess Royal title. It is held for life and so there can only be one title holder at any one time.
After his aunt Anne's death, if Prince William is on the throne, he may choose then to give it to Charlotte, though this is not automatic or guaranteed.
Footage also included in the viral video shows Charlotte's attendance at her grandfather, King Charles III's, coronation in May 2023.
For the occasion, the princess wore a custom white dress and cape designed by the fashion house responsible for making her mother's 2011 wedding dress, Alexander McQueen.
The dress matched the one worn by Kate for the coronation, and both mother and daughter wore matching silver embellished headdresses in the shape of leaves arranged like tiaras.
