A clip of Princess Charlotte realizing she was not with Prince George went viral on TikTok after the young royal made sure she was side by side with her brother.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte faced the daunting task of grieving in public and in front of the cameras at Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in September 2022.
And clearly the then 7-year-old princess wanted to have some family support to help her through what was sure to be a difficult day.

Footage of Charlotte stepping out of a car at Westminster Abbey before the funeral service showed she immediately turned around to look for George.
The video was watched almost 3 million times and liked almost 130,000 times after it was posted on TikTok with the on-screen caption: "Charlotte's reaction when she realizes George isn't beside her."
And it was posted with the message: "When scrolling through videos from The Queen's funeral, I came across this really sweet moment between George and Charlotte
"The way she instantly turns around when she realizes he's not beside her you can tell how close the two of them are! They'll definitely be like King Charles and Princess Anne in the future!"

One fan replied: "She knows, he is the important one," while another said: "She will support him exactly the way Princess Anne supported Charles. Loyalty runs in the family."
Another reply read: "She's like queen Elizabeth but she waits for her brother."
Charlotte and George spent portions of the day with Prince William but for much of it he had official duties, including taking part in a procession in honor of Elizabeth.
They therefore spent most of their time with their mother Kate Middleton and were also pictured outside the Abbey with Queen Camilla, Meghan Markle and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
Prince Louis stayed at home after it was deemed he was too young for the moving state funeral, at which emotion was never far from the surface.
The service was attended not only by King Charles and the royals but by dignitaries from around the world including President Joe Biden and the first lady.
