Pro-Trump prophet Julie Green declared "we are in war" after MAGA candidates faced significant losses during this month's midterm elections.
Several candidates in key races who closely aligned themselves with former President Donald Trump came up short during the midterms. For instance, Democrats flipped Arizona's governor office and a Senate seat in Pennsylvania, defeating pro-Trump Kari Lake and Dr. Mehmet Oz in two of the most closely watched races.
Trump is facing escalating political pressure for elevating loyalist candidates, who struggled to win support from independents and moderates, in GOP primaries. Some Republicans have said the party should move on from Trump even as he declared a 2024 presidential bid last Tuesday.
Following GOP losses, Green, who claims to be a prophet, cast the state of politics as a "war for the soul of this nation" during an interview with General Mike Flynn, a popular figure in right-wing circles who in 2017 served as Trump's national security adviser, on Saturday. Meanwhile, a Christian organization's petition condemning Flynn as a "false prophet" received thousands of signatures earlier this year.

"One of the things that we do have to know is that we are in war, and we're in a different war than World War I or World War II. We're in a different war," she said. "This is a war for the soul of this nation. This is a war for basically the soul of human beings in general."
Green continued that authorities, without naming anybody specifically, want to create a "one-world government" and "put things underneath our skin" to track people.
During the hour-long discussion, which was posted to the right-wing social media platform Rumble, she and Flynn described politics as a spiritual war. Green did not include any calls for violence, but said God told her "this is warfare" amid political turmoil.
She also directly addressed her viewers who may be frustrated by the disappointing midterm results for Republicans, saying that God told her the midterms are "not the answer to save this country."
"There's lots of people who are giving up on this country because of what they just saw for two elections in a row. It's not over. And I don't want anybody to think it's over, but it is going to look a little bit differently," she said. "The lord's been saying that it's going to look a little bit worse before it gets better."
Green is also a speaker on the right-wing "Rewaken America" tour, which has featured high-profile guests including Flynn, Charlie Kirk and Roger Stone. She said during Tuesday's episode that a recent stop was cancelled because she is too "radical."
Last month, one speaker, Bo Polny, said top Democrats, as well as some Republicans including South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, would face death by the end of this year.
"Crowd cheers as speaker Bo Polny declares prophecy that the 'Angel of death' will be visiting these people by end of year," HuffPost reporter Christopher Mathias tweeted at the time. "Ends speech by saying '45 is coming back!'"
