Forget a summer job - you can now get the perfect fall one: by becoming an official "pumpkin spice latte tester."
Fall is officially on its way following a record-breaking hot summer, and the idea of crunchy leaves and cooler nights is one that many are willing to welcome with open arms. If you're one of those fall-aficionados, then this quirky role might be for you.
Just like Halloween and dropping temperatures, pumpkin spice lattes are real signals of changing seasons for many. With the arrival of the festive drinks just weeks away, cozy clothing brand Pour Moi are looking for an official taste-tester of the beverage.
The pumpkin spice latte was introduced to the market by Starbucks in 2003, created by Peter Dukes who was director of espresso Americas for Starbucks. As the important history lesson goes, developers sat in the "Liquid Lab" swallowing coffee with pumpkin pie in their mouth in a bid to create the perfect fall flavors.
In the end, the recipe used pumpkin spice sauce with cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, and hasn't changed in the years since.

Now, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is a cultural signifier in itself and almost every coffee retailer sells their own version.
Pour Moi is on the hunt for someone who is willing to taste-test not only Stabucks' pumpkin spice latte, but various seasonal drinks sold at popular coffee chains in an attempt to find out which is best once and for all.
The successful applicant will receive a payout of $350 on top of a budget to purchase the important pumpkin spice lattes and other drinks.
In return, the taste-tester must review each of the drinks and rank them based on "sweetness levels, flavor, coziness, smell and add bonuses (cream, sprinkles, gingerbread, etc.)"
The reviews will then be shared to the Pour Moi site as an official judgment on the ever-important pumpkin spice latte on the market.
Maria Ryan, sales and marketing director at Pour Moi, said: "Despite the hot summer we have all faced, there are still fall fanatics who cannot wait for their autumn wardrobes to make a return. Because so many of our customers talk about how much they love everything about this cozy season (beyond the knitwear and snuggly clothing) we wanted to do something that ensures they have the best start to their favorite season.
"By hiring a Pumpkin Spice Latte Tester we can help all fall-lovers tell the gourd from the bad when it comes to the limited-edition seasonal coffees on offer this year, meaning everybody can relax with a hot drink knowing they will feel autumnal from the first sip."
To apply for the role, simply fill out the online application form here. Pour Moi said its only requirements for the role are "having a solid enthusiasm for autumn, penchant for pumpkins, lots of experience in drinking Pumpkin Spice Lattes and the ability to get to and from a range of different coffee shops."
