A dog named London has left the internet in stitches, after a video of him destroying his owner's reserve of toilet paper went viral on social media.

The viral clip, shared on TikTok earlier in August by the dog's owner, under the username Aquietseer, shows the dog destroying his owner's reserve of toilet paper, before noticing her entering the storage room and proceeding to "flop down and side eye" pose, and then acting as nothing had happened, and he was there just looking for something else.

The footage of the cute Havanese Poodle mix, more commonly known as Havapoo, comes with a caption that says: "caught my puppy red-handed," followed by "It's his response for me."

According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), there are many possible reasons why your dog is eating toilet paper.

Puppies may do that because of curiosity as they investigate their environment with their mouths, while adult dogs may crave paper because they are missing crucial minerals, like iron, in their diet.

It could also be due to other medical conditions, such as dogs dealing with gastrointestinal problems, diabetes, or worms turning to toilet paper out of hunger.

Dogs may eat toilet paper because of a medical condition called "pica," an eating disorder that makes dogs (and even humans) crave non-edible substances, often due to anemia or zinc deficiency. Anxiety can also lead dogs to chew or shred paper in an effort to soothe themselves.

It may also be that your dog is just bored. If a dog isn't receiving the attention that they crave, they may eat toilet paper to be noticed, because to them even negative reactions count as attention.

The video quickly attracted animal lovers from across the platform, receiving over 2.3 million views and 389,200 likes as of now.

One user, AyeDeeBee commented: "I'm his lawyer, my client is innocent!" And Your_HiNessa said: "Not him pretending he was looking for something lmao."

PalmTreeAtTheBeach wrote: "Oh me? No I'm just in here looking for something else." And Tiffany Taylor added: "He was about to tear some ish up." Negri said: "With that face not grounded and not guilty of anything."

Another user, Longshire Danie, pointed out: "Immediately turned on the cute mode." And Coop3r_x said: "it's when they flop down and give us the side eye like we're doing wrong by interrupting them."

Carolena wrote: "Just laying down mom." And Aashildny commented: "I don't see anything ... what are you talking about?"
