Karamo Brown is not thrilled about Kanye West's recent announcement. On July 13, the Queer Eye star tweeted that the rapper is "not qualified" to be the president of the United States.

"Kanye is not qualified to be president! I repeat not qualified! We are currently seeing the effects of having an unqualified entertainer in office right now with Trump!" he wrote.

Kanye is not qualified to be president! I repeat not qualified! We are currently seeing the effects of having an unqualified entertainer in office right now with Trump! Be smart with your vote. You future, your family’s futures, your security and our county is at stake!

"Be smart with your vote. You future, your family's futures, your security and our county is at stake!"

Despite his aversion to West running for president, the reality star could see himself in the political realm one day.

Brown previously revealed during a 2018 interview with LinkedIn that his second dream job was politics. "I think my second second dream job that I've always played and toyed with is the idea of politics. I love politics and I've always thought about running for office one day." The reality star has also been an activist for several years, focusing on mental health and empowering the LBGTQ community.

He also shared that he worked directly with President Barack Obama's administration to create policies in support of LBGTQ youth, and continued this conversation with Vice President Mike Pence's wife to focus on the arts and LGBTQ rights, as per HelloGiggles.

Since West revealed his plan to run, Tesla mogul Elon Musk said he would support him in his campaign.

West was a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump, but his July 8 interview with Forbes revealed that he's done backing the man. "I am taking the red hat off, with this interview," he said. West also said that he would run as a Republican if President Trump wasn't running, but will otherwise be running as an Independent.

Whether or not West will be able to successfully campaign for president has yet to be seen. By the time he made his announcement, the deadline to file to appear on the presidential ballot has passed in Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina and Texas, the Federal Election Commission notes.

During his Forbes interview, West also revealed that he's pro-life and skeptical about a coronavirus vaccine, despite having it in February. Additionally, West had never voted in his life, and envisions a political organizational model for the White House based on Wakanda, the secret country in Black Panther.
