A woman vandalized her neighbor's car and told them to "get the f*** out of this neighborhood" in a viral video posted to Twitter. The woman used two hammers to dent the car's doors before walking towards her neighbor with a hammer in each hand.

She swears at the woman filming and tells her to call the police, which the neighbor later did. The vandal is then seen hitting a trash can with the hammers while telling her neighbors to "go back to Mexico."

The video was filmed in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, but the car belongs Edy Perez, who said he was in Miami at the time.

Perez shared the video on Twitter—which currently has more than 6 million views—and said: "Bruh our racist ass neighbors just smashed my car in with a hammer for no other reason but because [they are] racist. My family minding their business living life inside our home when we hear loud noises coming from outside only to see that b**** smashing my car...smfh."

A second video shared by Perez sees another of Perez's neighbors holding the woman by her hair and telling her to turn her hose off. She swears at the woman and says: "I'm not a m*********** to be played with." She then calls the woman a racist and pushes her into a bush.

According to Perez, the woman who vandalized his car was arrested but later released due to COVID-19.

Perez set up a GoFundMe page to raise money to repair his car and pay for a lawyer. The campaign was set up on Saturday with a goal of $10,000 but has already raised more than $12,000.

On the page, Perez said: "As stated I never expected to reach the goal amount, this was just an open campaign for those who understood the situation and wanted to help. We now have raised over the amount placed and I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported.

"That just comes to show you what people can do when we all come together and help one another. This more than a blessing and I thank everyone. I've spoken to our neighbor who came out and helped my family, she is doing ok. I spoke to her and we will do a follow-up video together thanking everyone for the support."

Perez continued: "I am currently in Miami for work and will do this as soon as I get back home. We don't want to cause any harm to anybody in this situation, simply wanted to raise awareness and get some help. Thank you again to everyone who helped. We appreciate it greatly."

Newsweek has contacted the Los Angeles Police Department for comment.
