Republican Jewish Group Tells Conservatives: 'Enough Is Enough' With Kanye

A Republican Jewish group condemned Kanye West and told conservatives that "enough is enough" about the controversial rapper following his interview on InfoWars.

West, who legally changed his name to Ye, appeared on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones' InfoWars show on Thursday, in which he took credit for making antisemitism "popular" and gave praise to Adolf Hitler and the tyrannical Nazi regime.

"They did good things, too. We've got to stop dissing the Nazis all the time," a masked Ye professed. He went on to say that he "liked" Hitler and praised him for allegedly inventing microphones and highways.

"Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler," Ye continued.

Jones, a man previously convicted of spreading conspiracy theories about the Sandy Hook school shooting in 2012, attempted to interject multiple times during Ye's tirade.

The internet was abuzz following the episode, and calls rang out from individuals and organizations alike condemning Ye, including the Republican Jewish Coalition.

"Today's InfoWars show featuring Alex Jones, Nick Fuentes, and Kanye West—a disgusting triumvirate of conspiracy theorists, Holocaust deniers, and antisemites—was a horrific cesspool of dangerous, bigoted Jew hatred," a statement from the coalition read.

"We vehemently condemn those comments and call on all political leaders to reject these messengers of hate and relegate them to the dustbin of history where they belong.

"Given his praise of Hitler, it can't be overstated that Kanye West is a vile, repellent bigot who has targeted the Jewish community with threats and Nazi-style defamation.

"Conservatives who have mistakenly indulged Kanye West must make it clear that he is a pariah. Enough is enough."

Ye has garnered the support of many prominent Republican leaders since he first made an appearance on Fox News' Tucker Carlson Tonight, and last week, Ye dined with former President Donald Trump and white nationalist Nick Fuentes at Mar-a-Lago.

Many have criticized Ye for months following his tweet that he was "going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE" and are pushing for the InfoWars appearance to be the final straw.

Liora Rez, executive director of StopAntisemitism—a nonpartisan organization—told Newsweek, "For those that have continued defending Kanye, there's nothing left to defend after his Hitler tirades on Jones' podcast."

Representative Ritchie Torres of New York tweeted out one of Ye's quotes regarding Hitler and wrote beneath it, "This is Nazism. When are we going to say ENOUGH?"

Author and right-wing political commentator Matt Walsh tweeted on Thursday, "If I was an optimistic man I would at least hope that Kanye West's mental breakdown and self-immolation would persuade conservatives to stop falling madly in love with every celebrity who says one thing they agree with. But I am not an optimistic man."
