A video of a rescued husky using a treadmill has delighted the Internet.

The TikTok clip shared by owner Katie Carrol has racked up 4.3 million views since it was shared on November 17.

The video features Tennessee-based Luna, the one-eyed dog, grinning as she moves quickly along a walking pad at her home in Nashville. So far, the video captioned: "She IS that girl," has 687,300 likes.

The message layered over the clip says: "POV your dog takes her 10k step goal very seriously."

The average American walks one to two miles per day, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The national public health agency encourages people to hit a 10,000-step goal daily to improve one's health. The CDC states walking can "decrease the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer or diabetes."

While there aren't any specific step guidelines for dogs, it is important that they get sufficient exercise, especially energetic breeds like the Siberian husky.

Dogs like Luna have a lot of energy, according to the American Kennel Club (AKC). They were once sled dogs in Alaska and competed in competitions. So it's no wonder Luna has opted for the treadmill as opposed to lounging on the sofa with her owner who was filming.

According to U.K. based charity PDSA, huskies need a minimum of two hours of exercise every day. The AKC encourages owners to keep their dogs active through play and dog sports which may include getting them to pull you while riding a bike. The AKC states they are an intelligent breed that won't be entertained for long with a simple game of fetch, instead they may prefer being chased. It is important for owners to pinpoint what their pet dislikes to ensure they can provide the right activities.

In this case, it looks like Luna is content with an indoor brisk walk. In the comments, owner Carrol explained that Luna went to training to learn how to use the treadmill. She also said her French bull dog Noki is "terrified" of the machine.

With over 1,360 comments on the video so far, the Internet is impressed.

One user joked: "She knows summer bodies are built in the winter!"

Another comment with 21,300 likes said: "She IS the moment."

"A dedicated, healthy queen," complimented one user.

Previously Newsweek spoke to dog behaviorist Petrina Firth about a similar video of a canine using a treadmill.

She said: "In general, using a dog-specific treadmill designed with a dog's size, weight, and abilities in mind is safer and more appropriate than a human treadmill. There is nothing inherently wrong with using a dog treadmill; we just need to make sure it's safe and fun for the dog."
