Duruing a 9/11 commemoration speech on Saturday, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani offered an impersonation of Queen Elizabeth II and denied having ties with Prince Andrew.
Giuliani, who served as former President Donald Trump's attorney, was captured on video during a dinner held at Manhattan restaurant Cipriani. He delivered an impression of the British monarch as he recalled her praising his efforts as mayor following the September 11 attacks.
"She said, 'You did a wonderful job on September 11,'" he remarked in an attempted British accent. "And therefore I'm making you an honorary knight, commander of the royal something or other."
Giuliani said that he turned down the knighthood "because if you took a knighthood, you had to lose your citizenship."

During his speech, Giuliani denied having ties with Prince Andrew and that he "never went out with him [or] had a drink with him or was with a young girl with him."
Andrew is accused of sexual assault and battery by Virginia Giuffre, who was 17 years old at the time, according to a civil lawsuit filed on August 9.
The former mayor also spoke about the U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan and called Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, an "idiot" for saying that the Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan is not "strategically important."
"How is that guy a general?" he asked. "I wanted to grab his stars, shove it down his throat and say, 'It's 400 miles from China as-----. China is gonna be our enemy for the next 40 years. You have an airbase 400 miles from them, and you're giving it up, idiot. What the hell is wrong with you? Who pays you?'"
He also slammed President Joe Biden, saying "what Biden did in the last two weeks is freaking insane," in reference to the president's decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan in August.
On Friday, Giuliani wrote on Twitter that Biden has made the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks "much more excruciating than ever before."

In August, he criticized Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi over the withdrawal from Afghanistan while calling for the impeachment of the president and vice president.
"It's such a bad #BidenDisaster, it may lead to an #IMPEACHBIDENNOW. Then #IMPEACHBIDENHARRIS will lead #PelosiDisaster," Giuliani wrote on Twitter at the time.
On Friday, an associate of Giuliani, Igor Fruman, pleaded guilty to assisting in facilitating illegal foreign campaign contributions to build a marijuana business in America, according to the Associated Press.
