Three people have been attacked by a man with an "edged weapon" at San Francisco International Airport in California, but do not appear to have suffered serious injuries.
San Francisco police said that a man drove a vehicle into the airport on Friday and entered the International Terminal, where he attacked three men at around 6.p.m. P.D.T (9p.m. E.T.).
Police said the man "walked around the departure terminal and pulled out an edged weapon."
The victims received medical treatment at the scene for what appear to have been minor injuries and were then released. The men, who were passengers, continued with their journeys.

"They were treated for minor scrapes and released," said airport duty manager Russell Mackey.
Mackey said the attacks took place in the pre-security public area of the airport's International Terminal.
Airport spokesperson Doug Yakel said the suspected attacker "attempted to cause injury to several passing travelers."
Police responded to the incident and were able to arrest the man, who is now in custody but has not yet been identified due to the ongoing investigation into the matter.
Charges pending against the man and his city of residence have also not yet been released, and no motive for the attack has been offered as of early Saturday morning.
Elissa Harrington, a reporter with KTVU in San Francisco's Bay Area, reported on the incident overnight and said on Twitter that the "edged weapon" involved was a knife.
"Three people attacked at SFO," Harrington said. "This happened in the international terminal. A large knife was just removed from scene. Victims received cuts & scrapes. Lots of police on scene - suspect in custody."
The incident took place on the same day as the Golden State Warriors arrived into San Francisco International Airport to celebrate their homecoming following their victory over the Boston Celtics, racking up their fourth NBA title in eight years and their first since 2018.
Harrington was on the scene to report on the Golden State Warriors' return to California, tweeting earlier on Friday: "The Warriors are back in the Bay! Their flight just landed at SFO. #NBAChamps."
There is nothing to suggest at this time that the two events are related, however.
San Francisco International Airport had 13.7 million passengers in the fiscal year 2022. That was down 66.3 percent compared to the prior fiscal year, which may have been largely due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is the second busiest airport in the state after Los Angeles International Airport.
