A school bus driver was assaulted by three angry mothers after she allegedly ignored a bullying incident that occured on her bus. The three mothers were filmed by a student dragging the driver off the bus and kicking her while she was on the ground.

Andrea Anderson, a school bus driver in New Orleans, said she intends on taking legal action against the three women who attacked her.

"It was horrible," she told WVUE. "They approached the bus, they pushed past other students you know, knocking them down."

Footage of the incident captured by a student on the bus showed the parents approaching and yelling at Anderson before physically dragging her off the bus. In the video, the kids can be heard screaming as Anderson is brought to the ground before getting kicked and punched by the parents.

She said this all occurred while she was dropping kids off at their bus stop. She said the angry mothers were waiting for her and pushed past kids to confront her on the bus. Anderson claimed the assault was over an alleged bullying incident, but she said she knew nothing about it.

"They were screaming," Anderson told WVUE about the children on the bus. "They were scared."

Anderson said she is traumatized by the incident and that she wants the three parents to face charges for attacking her.

"You decide with your childish mind to come to a bus stop and fight a school bus driver," she said. "Like I'm not gonna press charges because hey, I want all three of them in jail."

She is currently recovering from injuries from the assault but says that it won't stop her from going back to the job she loves.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing and the identities of the three mothers remain unknown.

In September, Newsweek reported on a confrontation between a parent and a school bus driver that received more than 28 million views.

The video, which went viral on TikTok, showed a mother confronting her child's bus driver for "making her kids cry every day." In the video, the mother approaches the bus and asks the driver to "please not yell at her kids today."

The driver then yelled back at the mother that she never yelled at her kids.

"You shut your mouth," the driver said as she pointed at the parent.

After more back and forth, the mother asks the driver again not to yell at her children.

"How dare you tell me not to yell at your kids," the driver replied.

The mother, who was the person who published the video, said she reported the driver multiple times but that no disciplinary action was taken.
