Stanaland has confirmed that he and his now-wife, who had mutual friends before getting together, began dating after he slid into her DMs, with the realtor recently admitting to the Reality Life with Kate Casey podcast that he used the "worst pickup line ever" to begin their relationship.

He said: "She was at some event and she looked amazing. And so I said, 'Babe Town, USA, population, YOU.' Nothing else, just that."

Snow has also joked about the opening line, telling People it was "really lame." The John Tucker Must Die star added to the publication about their first date: "We got tacos after years of being infatuated with one another and forgot how to speak entirely.

"There was a certain amount of tequila consumed, and then we just started talking a lot. Then we fell in love and nothing's really changed, we're still eating tacos and margaritas together."

The couple then got engaged in 2019

Snow and Stanaland announced their engagement on Instagram, after a few weeks of keeping the news private.

The announcement was made on Snow's page alongside a series of black and white photos of the happy couple, which she has seemingly since deleted.

The caption for the pictures reportedly read: "A couple weeks ago, I said "YES" about a million times to the man of my wildest & most beautiful dreams. After celebrating with friends and family, we wanted to let a few more friends (you guys) know... this happened."

She added: "I'm still pinching myself and thanking my lucky stars for the truest feeling I've ever felt. Thank you @tylerstanaland for the happiest day of my life & for not proposing in this creepy empty restaurant."

Brittany and Tyler married in 2020

Snow and Stanaland managed to wed just days before the COVID-19 pandemic sent the world into lockdown in March 2020.

The bride wore a custom-made wedding dress by American designer Jonathan Simkhai and the couple's dog Billie Jean took on the role of flower girl.

A few months after the ceremony, Snow shared some pictures of the big day, along with a lengthy caption where she gushed over how "lucky" they were to wed just before the pandemic.

She told her followers: "In early March, before we knew how much we'd miss hugs and live in our sweatpants, I got to marry my favorite person. The whole world shut down a few days later & we were stunned at the timing. We knew we felt incredibly lucky to have found each other but we had no idea how lucky it would be to get married right before a monumental time in our history.

"Everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong that day... but it was absolutely and impossibly perfect. I knew on that day, more than ever before, there was no one else I'd rather hold my hand while in the middle of a (life) hurricane. I love you @tylerstanaland."

The pair of stars are super supportive of each other

Snow doesn't make an appearance on Selling the OC but Stanaland says the couple is very encouraging when it comes to each other's careers.

"She's supportive," he told ET, adding: "I have what makes the most sense in my career, and she has what makes the most sense in her career, and kind of whatever is best, we do, and we support, and I think that's what makes our relationship successful."

While Stanaland makes his reality TV debut, Snow is working on her directorial debut with the upcoming film September 17th.

Selling the OC Season 1 is now available to stream on Netflix.
