Christine Quinn will not be returning to Selling Sunset for Season 6.

Quinn, 33, has been one the main cast members on the Netflix reality show since it began in 2019, starring alongside the likes of Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Jason Oppenheim and Amanza Smith while working at the Oppenheim Group.

But after setting up a real estate business with her husband Christian Richard, Quinn will not be back in her role when Selling Sunset returns to screens.

E! News reports that Quinn has left the show, which has already begun production on Season 6.

Newsweek has everything you need to know about Christine Quinn's Selling Sunset exit.

Why Has Christine Quinn Left Selling Sunset?

Quinn will not be on Selling Sunset as she has left the Oppenheim Group to set up a new business with her husband.

According to E! News, a source has stated: "Christine isn't involved with any of the other cast members at this point, so her departure made sense."

It added: "Christine is looking forward to expanding her real estate business with husband Christian Richard and exploring opportunities in the fashion industry."

Newsweek has contacted reps for Selling Sunset and Quinn for comment.

It was first rumored in April 2022 that Quinn would not be returning to Selling Sunset, following the Season 5 finale in which she was accused of offering one of Emma Hernan's clients $5,000 to not work with her.

Quinn denied the claims, but in the final scenes of that finale she did not show up for a conversation about the situation with boss Jason.

The star also missed the Selling Sunset Season 5 reunion show, which was filmed on the weekend after the release of Season 5.

At the time, a source told Entertainment Tonight that this was due to Quinn testing positive for COVID-19 and being too ill to participate virtually.

That same month, Quinn gave an interview to Forbes magazine about her new business, RealOpen, which allows people to buy and sell houses using cryptocurrency.

In the interview, the writer paraphrases Quinn, saying: "Part of her decision to leave the Oppenheim Group [the brokerage highlighted on Selling Sunset] is because the firm wasn't forward-leaning and wasn't a believer in crypto."

Newsweek then reported that Quinn's email address had been removed from the Oppenheim Group website. Though she was still listed as a Realtor, her address had been taken off her agent page following the announcement of her new business.

Selling Sunset has already been confirmed to return for Season 6 and Season 7. A spin-off from the show, Selling the OC, is set to premiere on Netflix on August 24.

Selling Sunset Seasons 1 to 5 are available to stream now on Netflix.
