People are amazed at what a golden retriever and Siberian husky mix looks like, with a video of the unique-looking dog amassing millions of views online.

Handsome Stanley has the features of a lovable golden, but the black-and-white colorings of a husky, his owner, named Trish, revealed in a TikTok video.

Trish uploaded a clip to her account, @trishtaylor22, last week, where she asked viewers: "Have you ever wondered what a Siberian husky golden retriever mix would look like?"

The camera pans to Stanley, who Trish, thought to be based in Canada, describes as "monochromatic."

The clip, which can be seen here, racked up some 2.5 million views, as his owner shared more about his personality in the comments, claiming he is a "derp."

The 9-year-old dog is "pretty chill," she confirmed, adding that she rescued him when he was a year old.

Responding to questions about whether Stanley inherited husky's USP—their howl—she admitted he only does a "grumble" and is "pretty quiet."

Huskies are notorious for howling, as the American Kennel Club (AKC) noted: "Some dogs, like hounds and sled dogs, seem more prone to howling than others.

"Sled dogs bark and howl to each other when they are pulling. This is usually caused by their excitement in performing their jobs."

He does seem to have inherited another trait from that side, with huskies known for being "thickly coated," a characteristic born from originally pulling sleds in freezing temperatures.

When asked if he sheds, Trish replied there are "tumbleweeds of hair are all over my house."

Golden retrievers are among the nation's favorite pets, as Statista noted they were the America's fifth most popular breed in 2010 before rising to fourth place in 2020.

It's not surprising, as the AKC stated the breed is "outgoing, trustworthy, and eager-to-please family dogs, and relatively easy to train.

"They take a joyous and playful approach to life and maintain this puppyish behavior into adulthood."
