'Sister Wives' Fans Slam Robyn Over Comments About Christine Leaving Kody

Sister Wives fans have called out Robyn Brown over comments she made about Christine Brown and Kody Brown's split.

The trio all star on the TLC show, which is currently in its 17th season, along with Janelle Brown and Meri Brown.

Kody, 53, has a plural marriage with legal wife Robyn, 43, and spiritual wives Meri, 51, and Janelle, 53. He was previously spiritually married to Christine, 51, but the pair announced their split in November 2021.

Their break up is only being shown on Sister Wives now, and in a teaser for the next episode, which is scheduled to air on Sunday, November 13, the family members are seen getting together for a party to celebrate Christine and Kody's daughter Ysabel's graduation and birthday.

The party was filmed a "few weeks" after Christine broke the news to the rest of the family that she was leaving Kody and moving back to Utah, which received a mixed response from the other wives.

In a confessional scene in the teaser Christine tells the camera: "We haven't talked since. I knew it was a lot to ask of them, to get together just two weeks after, but I also wanted them to know that this might be one of the last times we get together."

In her own interview, Robyn admits feeling "nervous" about the party following the news of Christine and Kody's split, asking: "Are we going to be able to be normal and natural and comfortable, or is going to be tense?"

Christine reveals she doesn't know which of the kids in the wider family are aware that she is leaving, though Janelle is then seen saying that her children don't seem too upset by the news and are already talking about going to visit Christine in her new home.

Robyn, however, has a more negative outlook on the situation and says that after telling children they are "so confused, and so sad."

Ysabel, 19, then greets her siblings as it is revealed it is the first time the whole family has been able to get together since the COVID pandemic started.

Robyn's comments have left some fans unimpressed, and they have struggled to understand why Robyn is so disapproving of Kody and Christine's split.

Some even labelled her a "hypocrite," pointing out that she herself left an unhappy marriage when she split from first husband David Jessop.

Posting on YouTube in response to the teaser clip on TLC's official channel, one viewer wrote: "Robyn is a total hypocrite. SHE LEFT HER FIRST HUSBAND and yet she shames Christine for wanting to leave Kody who treats her like dirt? And Kody had plenty of time to try and fix his marriage, but instead chose to spend all his time with Robyn. What a mess."

This prompted the response: "Right?! Robyn acts like she doesn't understand why or how anyone would get divorced. I find that so confusing. I guess it's self projection of Robyn's insecurities onto Christine's confidence in her new journey. Robyn if you want to divorce twice, just say that!"

"Kody and Robyn have been dictating and they are upset that everyone doesn't do their bidding. They wanted it to be just them and they got it. Christine and Ysabel are so gracious. What a great example these ladies are setting," added another fan.
