A video of a dog that appears to "sleep all day" has gone viral on TikTok.
The video was posted by @myla.thebluestaffy, the TikTok account of a Staffordshire bull terrier named Myla, and has had 2.5 million views since it was first shared a week ago.
A message overlaid on the clip reads: "You know I'm sleepy. I need to nap constantly." The footage shows various shots of Myla laying on her back while wrapped in a blanket.
Myla's sleepy tendencies come as no surprise because our canine companions can spend as much as half of their days sleeping.

According to a study by researchers at North Carolina State University, published in December 2020 in Scientific Reports, most dogs have two windows of "activity peaks" during the day. One is from around 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., while another is from about 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The study found that all dogs were found to be more active during the weekends than weekdays.
Veterinarian Dr. Jerry Klein, the chief veterinary officer at American Kennel Club (AKC), the world's largest purebred dog registry, told Newsweek in August 2022 that dogs' sleeping positions "shed a little light into their behavior and much of it is inherited from their more primitive canine ancestors."
Many dogs often go from sleeping on their side to rolling over on their back, Mary R. Burch, a certified applied animal behaviorist and the family dog director at the AKC, also told Newsweek in August 2022.
This sleep stance sees the canine's belly exposed, with its front legs typically bent and paws are curled, as displayed by Myla in the shots in the latest viral clip.
This belly-up position indicates that the dog is completely relaxed and at ease in their surroundings, feeling safe and unthreatened in its environment, Klein and Burch explained.
A message overlaid on the video reads: "Live in pajamas daily," as the dog is shown wearing what appears to be a bathrobe and an eye mask over her eyes.
Another note across the screen says: "Can't come out, I'm busy being the...NAP GRL. Exhausted can't you tell," as the dog is seen wrapped in another blanket and a hand is later shown caressing her head.
"TIRED girl. Sleep all day but tired as hell," a final message says as Myla is seen wrapped in a blanket with her eyes half-closed and holding a stuffed toy with her paws.
