A dog groomer has melted hearts all over the internet after sharing a clip of one of her favorite clients relaxing while enjoying his routine grooming.
In a post shared on TikTok Friday under the username @Misszoeonthego, Archie the cavalier King Charles spaniel can be seen lying down on a table, taking a little nap as the groomer shaves his fur.
The clip came with a caption that read: "Some dogs don't like being groomed... and then there's Archie..." Followed by: "My little Archie having a nice kip while being groomed..."

It's sadly true that most dogs don't like being groomed. When their owners drag them to the groomers, their responses can vary from mild anxiety to full-blown panic attacks. For this reason is better to take preventive measures to address their anxiety before it escalates into aggression.
There are a few things you can do to make your dog's grooming experience more bearable for them. The first thing you should get your dog used to being handled, and convince them with a reward that the grooming table is actually a happy place. If your dog is really anxious but they also need a groom, consider using a muzzle.
The poster, Zoe Schmidt, owner of Zoe On The Go Mobile Pet Care in Penrith, Australia, told Newsweek: "Archie the King Charles cavalier is one of my favorite clients to groom. Like all cavaliers, Archie has a beautiful, happy and calm nature and is super-affectionate.
"He gets very bad bindiis and thorns stuck in his long fur that cause him discomfort so his owners request that I shave them off. It's almost summer here in Australia and with the intense heat, he is much more comfortable with shorter fur. He lays down and goes to sleep for the entire groom, waking only when I clip his nails.
"I do recommend that owners do research on the breed as they are not recommended to be 'shaved' as it may damage the coat. It's fine to shave Archie as his owners will always keep him groomed short, so if his coat grows back a little thinner it won't matter.
"Humanity over vanity is my motto when grooming and if a pet feels better shaved then I am happy to accommodate the owner's wishes."
