One of the coolest features in 2018's Marvel's Spider-Man is the range of different suits that Peter Parker can don to give him different abilities. Thankfully, that same feature is going to be available in Insomniac Games' follow-up, Miles Morales.
However, in Miles Morales the suits offer varying abilities that players can mix and match differently from how the modifications work in 2018's Spider-Man. Each suit has its own style and offers a lot of different ways for players to combat bad guys on the streets of New York City.

HOW SUIT MODIFICATIONS WORK
Suit modifications in Miles Morales are rather simple to understand. Many suits in the game have modifications that can be seen in the suits' tab, but can only be unlocked when a suit itself is unlocked.
Now, plenty of suits are unlocked by purchasing them, using resources earned by completing certain missions. Some suits are unlocked after completing certain side quests and parts of the main story—but we'll get into that in the next section.
As for the mods specifically, there are two different ones in Miles Morales: Visor and Suit.
Each suit has a different mod for either Visor or Suit, and can help you in fights. Once you unlock a suit, Miles will automatically put it on, but you can swap it out for your costume of choice. If you want the mod the suit comes with, you'll need to equip it. Both the Visor and Suit mods have two slots, and you'll have to choose which ones to use.
Equip them to your suit of choice and you'll be ready to go.
EVERY SUIT IN SPIDER-MAN: MILES MORALES
There are 19 suits in total in Spider-Man: Miles Morales. As mentioned above, most are unlocked via special currency that are earned by completing tasks, while others are rewarded for completing certain side missions.
Some suits are only obtained when you get to a certain part of the main story, or if you start another save in New Game+ mode, which allows for players to do the story over again, but with all of their stats from the end of their previous playthrough still intact.
