It has always been evident that when Mike Trout is on a baseball field, he is more than likely the most talented player there. He's shown that throughout his career and cemented himself among some of the greatest players of all-time.
Even so, Trout will also have one of the biggest "what if" careers in the history of baseball. Numerous injuries have kept him out of action for far too long. Unfortunately for not only the Los Angeles Angels but baseball fans as well, Trout is reportedly back on the shelf and will miss more time.

After being removed from Wednesday's game with knee soreness, Trout was placed on the 15-day injured list with a bone bruise in his knee, according to The Athletic's Sam Blum. Angels manager Ron Washington told reporters it is not expected to be a significant injury and there is no structural damage found in Trout's knee.
Trout has appeared on over 100 games just one time since the 2019 season and that was in 2022, when he played 119 of a potential 162. If the injury is not serious like it is believed, barring any other injuries during the season, Trout should get over 100 this season, but it's hard to believe he will with his injury history.
It is such an unfortunate thing to happen to one of the game's greatest players, an 11-time All Star, three-time MVP, and nine-time Silver Slugger. The one thing that has alluded Trout is a World Series championship.
He's suffered what feels like any and every injury that a player possibly could: a torn meniscus last season, wrist surgery in 2023, a back injury in 2022 and other injuries in prior seasons.
Hopefully, the bone bruise on his knee is nothing serious and he can return to the field as soon as his 15-day stint on the injured list is up.
