The New York Mets and New York Yankees are two teams in the market to add starting pitching in a huge trade this season. The Mets didn't do enough to add pitching this offseason, but their pitching staff has still found a way to hold up. Either way, it's unlikely their pitching dominance continues.

USA Today's Bob Nightengale recently reportedCastillo is off-limits, at least for right now. This could have something to do with Emerson Hancock's early-season struggles and the lack of proven big league talent beyond Seattle's top five pitchers.
"The Seattle Mariners desperately need some offensive help after injuries to right fielder Victor Robles and second baseman Ryan Bliss will sideline them for at least three to four months," Nightengale wrote. "Yet, one club that offered a young infielder for veteran starter Luis Castillo was told that Castillo remains off-limits - at least for now."
Hancock has struggled, so it's unlikely the Mariners would trade Castillo at this point. If anything, the Mariners could entertain the idea of trading Hancock instead.
Either way, it seems like the Yankees and Mets will need to turn to a different answer to solve their potential pitching woes.
