The Indiana Pacers have been one of the hottest teams in the league in the last handful of weeks.

As things stand, the Pacers are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 24-19 record. Their last 18 games have been phenomenal as they have gone 14-4 and ranked sixth in offense, fifth in defense, and fifth in net rating.

The Pacers are finding their groove; however, it is clear that they need to make a move to bolster their roster if they want to seriously compete in the Eastern Conference.

Indiana could be one move away from bolstering their frontcourt, and this trade idea has them doing just that, although they give up their long-time veteran in the process.

This trade idea sees the Pacers land a highly-coveted big man from the Utah Jazz, Walker Kessler.

Pacers receive: Walker Kessler, John Collins

Jazz receive: Myles Turner, Jarace Walker, a 2027 first-round pick, and a 2029 first-round pick.

The Pacers not only get Kessler, who is the big prize in this deal, but they also get Collins, who is averaging 17.9 points per game and has a player option at the end of the season.

Although the Pacers would love to add another center alongside Turner, he is in the final year of his deal and set to be an unrestricted free agent. The long-time Pacers center could leave the team this offseason, and in the potential deal, Indiana would at least get two great pieces in return.

The Jazz's big prize in return is the two first-round picks, which they will use to build for the future.

While Walker fits in their plans for the future, considering he is just 23 years old, the Jazz could go even younger with the first-round picks that they'd have at their disposal in this hypothetical trade.

Kessler is having his best season yet, averaging 11.1 points per game, 11.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2.5 blocks while shooting 72.3 percent from the field in 33 games and 29.8 minutes.

The former first-round pick has a club option after this season, and considering how much the Pacers give up in this scenario, he would likely remain in Indiana as he is set to be a restricted free agent after the 2025-26 season.
