Former 10-time All-Star NBA combo forward Carmelo Anthony has a new job.
The 19-year pro has been busy since he hung up his sneakers, launching a new podcast and overseeing his son Kiyan's high school basketball journey.
That podcast, "7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony," has been a total success story so far, with over 389,000 subscribers on YouTube.
On the pod, Anthony and a rotating cast of co-hosts — including The Kid Mero, former sharpshooting NBA combo forward Rudy Gay, Monica McNutt, and Kazeem Famuyide — speak with a variety of celebrities from the sports and entertainment spaces.
Now, it appears the longtime NBA fan favorite will be expanding his broadcasting footprint.

Per Marc Stein of The Stein Line, the 6-foot-7 superstar has agreed to serve as a league studio analyst when NBC reclaims a stake in NBA broadcasting, starting this fall. Games will be broadcast on NBC and its streaming affiliate, Peacock.

After splitting its broadcast coverage between Disney — which owns ABC and ESPN — and Warner Bros. — which owns Turner Sports and the streamer Max — for decades, the league renegotiated its exclusive game broadcasting rights in a new deal. Now, broadcast rights will be divided between Disney, NBCUniversal (parent company to NBC and Peacock), and Amazon.
The beloved Emmy-winning TNT broadcast "Inside The NBA" will be syndicated out to Disney.
Anthony called it a career following a swan song 2021-22 season with the Los Angeles Lakers. As soon as he became eligible, Anthony was nominated for — and earned — the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame this year.

Anthony was an elite scorer in his Nuggets and Knicks primes. As the best player on Denver, he led the Nuggets to the 2009 Western Conference Finals — his best postseason finish while an All-Star. A six-time All-NBA teamer, Anthony finished among the top six in MVP voting twice and among the top 15 six times.
