The dialogue in the hype video is borrowed from the movie Dune. The star of that movie, Timothée Chalamet, is a Knicks fan and has been spotted throughout the playoffs, sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden, cheering on his team.

Chalamet has not been shy about showing his fandom during games.

The Knicks are the odds-on favorite to win the series and represent the East in the 2025 NBA Finals. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Knicks are favorites with -146 odds.

New York is coming off an epic six-game series that saw them defeat their division rivals and the defending champions, the Boston Celtics. The Celtics were heavy favorites in that series, but after two epic comebacks in Games 1 and 2 on the road, the Knicks flipped the script and were in the driver's seat for the rest of the series.

Towns has done his part to lead his team to the final four of the NBA. Towns is averaging 19.8 points per game in the playoffs, 11.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.9 blocks while shooting 48.1 percent from the field and 34.1 percent from beyond the arc in 12 games and 35.7 minutes.

He didn't play his best game in Game 6 vs. Boston; however, he didn't need to, as they easily handled that series clincher. The entire starting five scored in double digits, and they will now look for the same contribution in this series, which will be their most challenging one yet against the Pacers.

This matchup revives this old-school rivalry. The Pacers and Knicks have met eight times in the playoffs, with a total of 48 games played. The Pacers have the edge in series wins, going 5-3 in those eight playoff meetings.

Their most recent one came last season in the Eastern Conference semifinals, in which the Pacers beat the Knicks in seven. The Knicks will seek revenge this time and head to their first finals since 1999.
