The Boston Celtics were trying to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals in a series against the Knicks. The Knicks have been a tough team all year long, and they suddenly found themselves down 3-1.

The injury to Jayson Tatum didn't help their chances of coming back. They blew two 20-point leads in the first two games of the series. Tatum tearing his Achilles was a big blow, but they weren't going to come back from that deficit if he were healthy.

Now, the Knicks are in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Indiana Pacers while the Celtics are at home contemplating their offseason. The entire NBA world was watching these two teams face off.

LeBron James was one of the many who were watching this series very intently. As a student of the game, he loves analyzing how the game is played. He thought that there was a very specific reason for the Celtics losing to the Knicks.

"It seems like they get bored a little bit sometimes with, I don't want to say the process, because they are who they are. When you look at Tatum and Brown, this is years and years and years. They've punched their 10,000 hours. But sometimes it seems like they get a little bored."

James believes that they get bored because of how great they are. As a great player himself, he understands what it takes to win at the highest level. Obviously, the Celtics do too, since they won it all last year.

The Celtics are now going to have to navigate most of next year without Tatum on the court. He will either miss all of next year or most of it, so the rest of the team is going to have to step up in his absence.

There's a good chance that Boston's title window is now closed because of that injury. Still, they have Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, and some other good players. They are going to try to get back into the championship conversation in two years.

James is also going to try to get into the championship conversation. His team has a lot of work to do in the offseason, as well. The Lakers might have a better shot at winning it all than the Celtics do next year.
