GAME 7!!!!!!
James has been part of eight Game 7s in his career, with a stellar 6-2 record. In those games, the 40-year-old superstar averages 34.9 points per game, 9.9 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 1.8 steals while shooting 48.7 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from beyond the arc in 45.6 minutes of action.
The four-time champion has endured much in his career, but he ultimately enjoys the game of basketball. No better game and series is on display than Nuggets vs. Thunder. These two teams have been duking it out since Game 1, and the winner will advance to the Western Conference Finals.
If the Nuggets manage to advance, it would mark their second trip to the Western Conference Finals in the last three seasons and their sixth overall. It would also be the third time Nikola Jokic has led Denver to the NBA's final four.
For the Thunder, a win would secure their first conference finals berth since 2016. Including their history as the Seattle SuperSonics, the franchise has reached the conference finals 10 times and made four appearances in the NBA Finals.
Prior to Game 7, Jokic is leading the series in points (347), rebounds (169), assists (105), and wins shares at 2.1.
Like most series that go the distance, it has been a back-and-forth event. The Nuggets stole Game 1 after a game-winning three by Aaron Gordon. The Thunder responded in a big way in Game 2 with a 43-point win.
In Game 3, the Nuggets won a thriller in overtime. In Game 4, the Thunder withstood a comeback by the Nuggets on the road. In Game 5, the Thunder executed down the stretch to get it in, and in Game 6, the Nuggets did their part to keep the series alive in front of their home fans.
Anything can and will happen in Game 7, and James will make sure we know about it.
