The Denver Nuggets are getting ready for a crucial Game 6 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, looking to keep their season alive. The Nuggets will be hosting Game 6 at Ball Arena in Denver, but the team could be without a critical player.

The Nuggets are now listing star guard Jamal Murray as questionable for the game. Murray is dealing with an illness and is now in danger of missing this contest.

If Murray isn't able to go, this would be a massive blow to the Nuggets' chance of forcing a Game 7. Murray has been one of the leaders for this Denver team over the years, and the Nuggets are already at a disadvantage against the Thunder.

Going up against the Thunder in an elimination game, this is certainly not an ideal situation for the Nuggets to be in. Denver has gone 1-1 at home in this series against the Thunder so far.

The hope is that Murray will be able to play in this game, but his being downgraded ahead of the contest is a little concerning. For the year, Murray has averaged 21.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.4 steals.

If Murray can't go, others for the Nuggets will need to heavily step up. This is a veteran group that has been in multiple pressure-filled playoff situations before, so they have the necessary experience.

Guard Russell Westbrook would likely be given more of a bigger role if Murray has to miss the game. Westbrook has been up and down through the playoffs this year, but it could be his time to shine for the Nuggets.

Star center Nikola Jokic and forward Aaron Gordon would also have bigger roles, as they try to keep the season alive. Denver went 26-15 at home during the regular season, giving them decent odds of defending home court in Game 6.

Oklahoma City will be looking to advance to the Western Conference Finals, where they would meet the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Thunder were the best team in the NBA during the regular season, but they have looked a little shaky in this series against the Nuggets.
