The star forward missed Game 3 due to the issue, but the Warriors were able to come away with the big win. Now with Game 4 being played tonight, the Warriors have announced his final status for the contest.

Since his arrival in Golden State, the Warriors have been one of the best teams across the NBA. The veteran forward has given this team a massive spark, and it's rubbed off across the board.

Butler brings a certain level of toughness to the table that the Warriors were lacking, other than with Draymond Green. With the two of them running the show, especially on the defensive end of the floor, the Warriors have been a nightmare to deal with.
The Warriors have been able to throw the Rockets off their game in this series so far, exposing the young team. Even with Butler missing Game 3, the Warriors were able to take control of the series.
Butler has played in 30 games with the Warriors, averaging 17.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. The former All-Star has given his all to this team following a tumultuous exit from the Miami Heat.
As this series with the Rockets continues, the Warriors are going to need Butler to be healthy. Houston is a very energetic team, and Butler helps to neutralize that fact with his aggressiveness on defense.
Golden State took home-court advantage away from the Rockets by winning Game 1, and they will be looking to take a commanding 3-1 series lead today in Game 5. If the Warriors can jump out to an early lead, they may be able to bury Houston underneath the wild crowd presence at the Chase Center, grabbing another win at home.
