"Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who has missed the last three games due to a strained left hamstring, has been re-evaluated. The re-evaluation indicated that Curry is making good progress in his recovery. He has been cleared to participate in light on-court workouts, including shooting drills. He will be re-evaluated again on Saturday.

"Curry sustained the injury against the Minnesota Timberwolves during the second quarter of Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals."

Curry will be re-evaluated on Saturday and could play if there is a Game 6.

The Warriors are on the brink of elimination, down 3-1 to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Golden State will look to avoid a gentleman sweep and extend their season.

They have played without their superstar guard for three games and have looked mediocre for the most part. Curry has been sidelined since Game 1 with a left hamstring strain. The Warriors are targeting a potential Game 6 return, which will take place on Sunday if the Warriors win Game 5 on Wednesday.

Warriors star forward and four-time champion Draymond Green also provided an update on Curry and his progression.

"No, we're not going to Superman this thing," Green said, "If he's in a place where he can play, I'm sure he will. Him and Rick [Celebrini, Warriors VP of player health and performance] and everybody will figure that out. But we don't need [Curry to try to be] Superman.

"Gotta play the long game. If he can, we know he will. But there's no pressure. We've got to figure out how to win whether he plays or not."

"He's working his tail off every day," Green said. "He's in here eight, nine hours a day working, doing what he can to try to get back. His morale is great. Obviously, nobody's excited right now. But he's working to get back. It's all you can do at this point."

In Curry's lone appearance in the season, he recorded 13 points in 13 minutes.
