While there are teams being urged to tank for Manning during the 2025 NFL season, there seems to be a good chance that he won't enter the 2026 draft class.
ESPN NFL draft expert Matt Miller has sent a head-turning message about Manning's future. He took to social media to share a major piece of his preparation for the 2026 draft.
"It feels like a good time to remind people that Arch Manning has three years of eligibility remaining—and that both Peyton and Eli used all their college eligibility," Miller wrote. "I won't be doing any draft work on Arch for 2026. He's probably a 2027 player. He could be a 2028 player."

Manning has been in no rush since joining Texas. Many players would have considered transferring to find playing time elsewhere. He has shown maturity beyond his years by sitting behind Ewers and waiting his turn at the school that offers him the best chance at success.
During the 2024 season with the Longhorns, Manning did receive some valuable playing time. In the time he received on the filed, he was able to shine.
In the 10 total games he played in, Manning completed 67.8 percent of his pass attempts for 939 yards, nine touchdowns, and just two interceptions. He also showed off some athleticism with 108 rushing yards and four more touchdowns on the ground.
Looking ahead at the future, the sky is the limit for Manning. Should he reach his ceiling, NFL stardom is undoubtedly in the future.
With the maturity and wisdom he has shown already, Manning should be able to make the most of his college career and prepare himself for the next level.
