The 2025 NFL Draft is just weeks away, and our biggest questions will soon be answered.
One team that still has some question marks is the Jacksonville Jaguars. The team had a disappointing season in 2024, and as a result, a new coaching staff and general manager were brought in.
The Jaguars, luckily, have a franchise quarterback already in Trevor Lawrence. It's safe to say the team won't take a quarterback with the No. 5 pick, but there are several other directions the team could go.
Today, let's identify the three prospects who would fit in best with the Jaguars in the first round.

Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
The most common mock draft selection for the Jaguars is Michigan defensive lineman Mason Graham, and it's easy to see why.
The interior defensive line is one of the few areas the Jaguars didn't address in free agency this offseason. Yet, the position still needs at least one difference-maker, and Graham could be just that.
In 2024, Graham collected 45 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. The defender earned First-team All-American honors for his performance and is considered among the draft's best overall prospects.
In Jacksonville, Graham could immediately start next to 2024 second-round Maason Smith. Graham would immediately give the team a disruptive presence on the defensive interior with all-pro upside.

Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
What if the Jaguars decide to go bold and take arguably the best player available, even if it's not at a premium position?
Ashton Jeanty is an incredible weapon who could immediately transform the Jaguar offense. Travis Etienne disappointed in 2024, and even at his best, he's not the quality of player that Jeanty is.
Jeanty rushed for 2,601 yards and 29 touchdowns in 2024. The running back led the FBS in rushing yards and finished 2nd in Heisman Trophy voting, which is an impressive feat for a running back.
This may seem like a luxury pick, but the Jaguars need to surround Trevor Lawrence with as many weapons as possible.

Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
Speaking of adding weapons to the offense, enter Tyler Warren.
Warren had an incredible season for Penn State in 2024, and was one of the best pass-catchers in the entire country. The Jaguars lost starting tight end Evan Engram in free agency, so the tight end spot is an area of need.
In 2024, Warren caught a whopping 104 passes for 1,233 yards and eight touchdowns. The versatile weapon also contributed in the ground game, rushing 26 times for 218 yards and four scores.
Warren is not only an elite pass-catcher but he also holds his own as a blocker. The Jaguars could get creative in how they deploy Warren, and it wouldn't be surprising to see the team go for his offensive upside.
