Brown recently went after former Los Angeles Chargers cornerback Asante Samuel Jr., as he took umbrage with Samuel trying to "be him" on social media.

Brown's post reads:

Asante Samuel

Tryin clown ppl online like he me

Couldn't even carry my jock strap

What has Asante done after nfl career?

Try be clown online ...

Try tear down who ppl vote for ...

How that working out for him?? ?

Stick to what u good at... which is???

Now, Samuel has fired back at Brown with a post of his own, which is sure to ingite this budding feud even more.

Samuel took to X to fire back a retort. The post reads:

"If Mike Tomlin never babied you @AB84 NFL would've been an after thought. You couldn't survive anywhere else. The Steelers organization and players allowed you to act crazy. Lucky you never played on my team. You would've been dealt with immediately and not by the coach. Facts!"

Brown made mention of the behavior that Brown exhibited in the NFL. Stating that the Steelers organization and head coach Mike Tomlin allowed the receiver to "act crazy."

Brown would come under fire in the later years of his career, and notably quit while a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2022 season when he took his pads and jersey off randomly and ran onto the field and into the locker room.

Brown would later accuse the Buccaneers and then-head coach Bruce Arians of forcing him to play through a significant ankle injury.

Since leaving the NFL, Brown has often made headlines with his constant online barbs.

It appears that Samuel was not going to sit by and allow Brown to single him out on social media without providing a response. Samuel is still a free agent, but is likely to land with a new team in 2025.

Brown indicated that Samuel is trying to take shots at people "after" his NFL career, but Samuel has not stopped playing. Conversely, Brown retired from the league in the 2023 season.

Considering Brown posted first, and Samuel has now fired back — this could turn into a much bigger feud. Brown is not one to shy away from making his feelings known on social media, so expect more to come from this feud.
