The Chicago Bears have had a great offseason so far, which was needed after a tough season.
The Bears drafted quarterback Caleb Williams first overall in last year's NFL draft, who seemed like a generational prospect.
However, he was outshined by Jayden Daniels and even Drake Maye at times. Daniels won the Rookie of the Year and led the Commanders to the NFC Championship, while Maye and the Patriots defeated the Bears 19-3 after an onslaught of sacks.

The Bears this offseason hired Ben Johnson and added three interior offensive linemen, which earned them an 'A' grade in a free agency report card from Yahoo's Frank Schwab.

The team traded for Joe Thuney, a tackle/guard from the Kansas Chiefs with plenty of playoff experience with the Patriots and Chiefs. They also added guard Jonah Jackson from the Los Angeles Rams via trade and signed center Drew Dalman to a 3-year, $42 million contract.
They also significantly improved their defensive line by adding Dayo Odeyingbo and Grady Jarrett, who each signed three-year deals for over $40 million total.
The Bears entered last year with solid skill players but still struggled to win games in a tough NFC North division.
To help Caleb Williams reach his full potential and make the pick feel worthwhile for the Bears, they needed to do everything possible to improve the trenches, and they did just that.

The Bears finished 5-12 last season and fell below expectations, so an 'A' offseason under their new, highly reputable head coach should have Bears fans feeling excited. That's before the NFL Draft has even happened.
While D'Andre Swift was solid last season, drafting Heisman runner-up Ashton Jeanty with the No. 10 pick in the draft would be a huge upgrade and cap off a stellar offseason with a bang.
With the other three teams in their division being three of the top teams in the NFL with a combined 40-11 record, the Bears will still have a tough time competing for a playoff spot.
However, if all of their shiny new additions work out, it is definitely a possibility, and the team could even challenge for a division title with a bit of luck.
The Chicago Bears have struggled for success over the past few seasons, but with a new head coach, a promising young quarterback, and a well-rounded roster, they could finally make some noise in games that matter down the stretch.
