Arizona Cardinals star receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was the only rookie in 2024 that would see his jersey not be available for purchase. This stemmed from a lawsuit that occurred between Harrison and Fanatics.

Fanatics had accused Harrison of "breach of contract," with more details apparently revealing that Marvin Harrison Sr. signed the contract instead of his son.

Though the details of the case have not been fully revealed, it has been reported that the year-long lawsuit is finally over. Harrison's jerseys will now be made for purchase following the long legal battle.

More details were revealed by ESPN, which contains quotes about the lawsuit being resolved.

"The dispute between Fanatics and Marvin Harrison Jr. has been resolved. The parties are pleased to have resolved this matter, and looking forward to a productive working relationship going forward," a Fanatics spokesperson said in a statement.

The report also indicates that Harrison's No. 18 jersey will be available "pretty soon."

According to the report, "Fanatics initially filed the lawsuit against Harrison on May 18 for breach of contract over an agreement the two parties had in 2023. Fanatics alleged that Harrison signed a binding term sheet that would have paid him $1.05 million over three years in exchange for game jerseys and more than 35,000 autographs."

It was also revealed that Fanatics filed fraud allegations against Harrison following his providing signatures on helmets and footballs.

Harrison's jersey is not going to hit the shelves but could lead to some big sales. Not only because the receiver is a star in the league, but also because Cardinals fans have had to wait so long to get their hands on the rookie's jersey.

Harrison appeared in all 17 games of his rookie season, posting 885 yards and eight touchdowns on 62 receptions out of 116 targets. He posted an impressive 14.3 yards per catch average.

The Cardinals ended the 2024 season with an 8-9 record, which was far from what they were predicted to be. Most analysts pegged Arizona to challenge the NFC West for the division title.

Arizona has been busy during free agency, picking up quarterback Jacoby Brissett, and resigning Zay Jones. Jones is still the veteran presence that can continue to coach up Harrison, who showed impressive skills as a rookie.

With Harrison poised for an even bigger second year, fans can now buy his jersey when it is made available.
