Many have speculated that Kupp would end up in Seattle as he returns to his home state of Washington. Kupp went to college at Eastern Washington and now will get to represent his state in the NFL.
After the signing was announced, Kupp took to social media to offer his thoughts. It was a perfect reaction to one of the bigger signings in free agency this offseason.

After eight years with the Rams, it became clear that Los Angeles wasn't interested in retaining the star wide receiver. Kupp helped lead the Rams to the Super Bowl in 2021 and was a crucial piece in them claiming the title.
But injuries have taken a toll on him over the past few seasons, limiting his production. Last year, Kupp remained relatively healthy, playing in 12 games for the Rams.
During that time, he posted 67 catches for 710 yards and six touchdowns. His best season came in 2021 when he put up 145 catches for 1,947 yards and 16 scores.
Kupp now becomes one of the main offensive targets for the Seahawks moving forward. Seattle has been very busy this offseason, also landing Pro Bowl quarterback Sam Darnold in free agency.

After releasing longtime wideout Tyler Lockett and trading DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers, many have wondered where the Seahawks would go. But the addition of Kupp now helps to round out the pass catchers for the upcoming season.
The Seahawks are determined to get themselves back to the postseason and they believe the moves they have made can do that. Kupp now joins wide-out Jaxon Smith-Njigba as the primary target for Darnold.
Seattle also signed former Dallas Cowboys pass rusher DeMarcus Lawrence to help bolster the defensive unit. The Seahawks have been very busy and they believe that they can compete in the NFC West this season.
