Internet sleuths have identified the Eagles fan as a New Jersey man named Ryan Caldwell, a business analyst at a consulting firm named BCT Partners.

As of writing, Caldwell appears to have deleted his social media accounts, including his LinkedIn; most likely, the Eagles fan is aware of the video's virality and is looking to weather the storm.

BCT Partners has issued a statement regarding the incident, though not naming Cladwell.

The statement reads:

"The management at BCT Partners has been made aware of a video circulating involving an employee making offensive remarks outside the workplace. BCT Partners denounces this type of behavior, and we take this matter extremely seriously."

"As an organization that has always stood for inclusivity, the conduct displayed was completely unacceptable and stands in direct opposition to our company values"

"We have already begun a full investigation as an internal personnel matter to determine what actions will be taken. We sincerely apologize to everyone affected by this behavior and remain committed to fostering a culture of respect for all."

BCT Partners describes itself as "a management consulting firm that helps organizations solve complex social issues. Our mission is to accelerate equity through our subject matter expertise on DEI, precision analytics, health equity, children and families, education, and economic and workforce development."

While the Eagles secured a 22-10 victory, advancing to the NFC Divisional Round, the win was marred by a deeply unsettling confrontation in the stands.

The incident unfolded when a Green Bay fan, attending the game with her fiancé, Alexander Basara, was verbally abused by a fellow Eagles supporter.

Basara took to social media to expose the harassment, sharing a video that showed the man—distinct with his gray beard and Eagles jacket—relentlessly taunting his fiancée with offensive language. This is the person who has now been reportedly identified as Caldwell.

At one point, he called her an "ugly dumb c***." This led Basara to start recording, and the video quickly went viral, drawing widespread condemnation of the Eagles fan's behavior.

On X, Basara expressed his frustration: "What it's like going to Philly just trying to root for your team... Unprovoked, uncalled for. This is not okay. I hate that my fiancée had this happen simply for cheering for her team. Let's find out who this is... honestly disgusting human being."

Witnesses reported that the harassment persisted throughout the game, with Caldwell continuing his verbal assault despite the woman's attempts to ignore him.

Numerous Eagles fans expressed embarrassment, emphasizing that one person's behavior doesn't represent the entire fan base, the episode has cast a shadow over the team's win.

Despite the Packers' struggles, including three interceptions thrown by quarterback Jordan Love, the team remained within reach for most of the game but ultimately fell short.

However, the focus of the post-game discussions quickly shifted from the Eagles' victory to the disturbing interaction in the stands, leaving a stain on what should have been a celebratory moment for Philadelphia.

The Eagles have not issued a statement regarding Caldwell's actions or the incident, nor has the fan spoken publically as of publishing.
