An incident at Lincoln Financial Field during the Philadelphia Eagles' Wild Card win over the Green Bay Packers has sparked outrage, as NFL fans are calling for a "disgusting" Eagles fan to be banned for life following vile, abusive behavior toward a Packers supporter.

The Eagles triumphed over the Packers 22-10, advancing to the NFC Divisional Round, but the victory was marred by a disturbing altercation in the stands.

A Green Bay fan, accompanied by her fiancé, Alexander Basara, was verbally assaulted throughout the game by a fellow Eagles supporter. Basara took to social media to share the troubling experience, asking for help identifying the man, who was captured on video harassing his fiancée with vulgar insults.

The Eagles fan, seen with a gray beard and wearing an Eagles jacket, repeatedly targeted the woman, hurling derogatory remarks and shouting in her ear.

At one point, he referred to her as an "ugly dumb c***," which prompted Basara to start recording the incident. His post on Twitter/X quickly went viral, with many NFL fans condemning the Eagles fan's behavior as unacceptable.

"What it's like going to Philly just trying to root for your team... Unprovoked, uncalled for," Basara wrote. "This is not okay. I hate that my fiancé had this happen simply cheering for her team. Let's find out who this is... honestly disgusting human being."

While Philadelphia is known for its passionate fans, this incident crossed the line, with many calling for the Eagles fans to be banned from all stadiums.

Witnesses claim the harassment lasted throughout the game, with the fan continuing his verbal assault despite the woman's attempts to ignore him.

The Eagles organization has yet to comment on the incident, and no arrests have been reported.

It's unclear whether stadium security intervened during the altercation. However, the incident has sparked a larger conversation about the growing toxicity of fan behavior at sporting events.

As the Eagles prepare to host either the Rams or the Vikings in the NFC Divisional Round next Sunday, the focus remains on ensuring that all fans—regardless of team affiliation—can enjoy the game in a respectful and safe environment.

The overwhelming response from NFL fans suggests that the behavior of the individual in question should not be tolerated in any arena.
