Campbell joined the Dolphins on a one-year deal in the 2024 offseason. During the season, he emerged as a leader in the locker room immediately.

Campbell finished the 2024 season with five sacks and one forced fumble through 17 games. Though he is 38 years old, the stalwart veteran proved that he has plenty still left in the tank.

Miami had indicated they were trying to bring him back in 2025, but Campbell is now rejoining the Cardinals.

Arizona was the first team that Campbell played for, as he was drafted in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft out of Miami. The star defender in the making made an immediate impact, as he secured seven sacks in his second season with the Cardinals.

During his nine seasons with the Cardinals, he would bring in 501 tackles, eight forced fumbles, and 56.5 sacks. Campbell was named to either the Pro Bowl or landed an All-Pro nod in the last three seasons of his time with the Cardinals.

Following the 2016 season, Campbell would sign a four-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He remained with the team through the 2019 season, racking up 31.5 sacks and 195 total tackles.

Campbell would then join the Baltimore Ravens in 2020, spending three seasons with the team, landing a one-year deal with the Falcons in 2023, and finally a one-year deal with the Dolphins in 2024.

Campbell became a consummate professional and leader throughout his entire career, landing a Walter Payton Man of the Year nod in 2019. Despite being an older defensive tackle, he has proven to be one of the most durable players in the league, even well into his 30s.

Campbell now joins a rebuilt defensive line for the Cardinals that includes Josh Sweat, Darius Robinson, Dalvin Tomlinson, and B.J. Ojulari. Arizona made it a point to address their defensive line and pass rush capabilities, and they have done so in a big way.

Adding a veteran like Campbell is going to do wonders for the locker room, especially given his ties to the franchise.
