Green Bay Packers center Josh Myers vomited on the ball as he snapped it to backup quarterback Malik Willis on a third-down play. It was by far the nastiest play of the Week 2 game.

"I asked Malik why he didn't throw the ball on that third down, and he told me that Josh threw up on the ball," Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said. "I was like, 'That's the first time I've ever heard that.' Matter of fact, official came over to me, Shawn [Hochuli] came over to me and said, 'You know, we saw you center throwing up on the ball. Do you want us to take him out next time?' I said, 'Absolutely, please do that.' Because, I mean, you're talking about a critical situation and it's third down. I've never had a throw with vomit on a football. I don't think Malik probably didn't appreciate that."

Myers' throw-up immediately became one of the popular storylines from the Week 2 matchup.

Nevertheless, the unfortunate incident didn't prevent Green Bay from success on Sunday.
Without starting quarterback Jordan Love, the Packers held off the Indianapolis Colts to get their first win of the season. The 16-10 triumph was Green Bay's home opener at Lambeau Field.
The matchup came down to a Hail Mary attempt on the final play for the Colts. Packers safety Evan Williams got the pick to seal the game. It marked the Packers' third interception of the day.
The Packers played a run-heavy game, given the absence of their starting quarterback. Green Bay rushed for 261 yards.
However, Willis went 12 of 14 and threw his first career touchdown pass. He also added 41 rushing yards. The third-round draft pick earned a 126.8 passer rating.
Running back Josh Jacobs rushed 32 times for 151 yards. Wideout Romeo Doubs posted three catches for 62 yards. Dontayvion Wicks recorded three catches for 26 yards and a touchdown.
Love sustained an MCL injury in the season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Green Bay signal-caller is expected to miss a few games, but the injury isn't going to sideline him for the season.
In 2023, Love threw for 4,159 yards with 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. His performance last year led to a four-year, $220 million contract with the Packers.
Green Bay will face the Tennessee Titans in Week 3.
