Former Dallas Cowboys star defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence shockingly signed a new contract with the Seattle Seahawks, ending his 11-season career in the NFC East. Following his new contract, Lawrence joined "Hawk Blogger," where he took a massive shot at his former team.

While Lawrence was talking about his decision to leave the Cowboys, he made sure to let his feelings be known about Dallas not landing a Super Bowl appearance during his time with the team.

"Dallas is my home ... but I know for sure I'm not going to win a Super Bowl there," Lawrence stated.

The video and comment immediately reached the ears of Micah Parsons, who used it to take a shot at Lawrence.

Parsons posted the video in question, stating, "This what rejection and envy look like! This some clown s***! ?."

Lawrence was also quick to respond to Parsons on the post, stating:

"Calling me a clown won't change the fact that I told the truth. Maybe if you spent less time tweeting and more time winning, I wouldn't have left."

Parsons has always been a staunch supporter of the Cowboys and has defended the franchise many times outside of him being one of the star players on the team. Lawrence, on the other hand, decided to use his first chance away from the team to speak his truth.

In Lawrence's defense, the Cowboys have not made the Super Bowl since 1995. Even while Dak Prescott came aboard and the team has had superstars on both sides of the ball, the team has only been to the playoffs five times out of the last eight seasons.

Of those playoff appearances, the Cowboys have lost in the Wild Card Round twice. They lost the Divisional Round the other three times, meaning they have also not made a conference championship either.

Dallas has struggled mightily in the playoffs, and Lawrence simply commented on that fact — though the comment could be seen as disrespectful considering his time with the Cowboys.

Despite the comment, Lawrence now has a chance to rebound in 2025 with the Seahawks. A foot injury sidelined him for most of the season, but he secured three sacks and one forced fumble in four games.

For Parsons, he is awaiting a new contract extension, which could pay him north of $40 million per season, which is what Myles Garrett just received from the Cleveland Browns.
