Love exited the game after being shoved by a Jaguars defender, which appeared to be a mostly innocent shoulder bump. However, after the bump, Love appeared to be in significant pain. He left the game and backup quarterback Malik Willis entered.
Love would be ruled out with what was being detailed as a groin injury. Now, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur expressed some deeper concern about the new ailment.
Coach Matt LaFleur said there is “obviously a high level of concern” about Jordan Love’s groin injury. He’ll be evaluated. https://t.co/sAzePgyN9O

When speaking to reporters after the win, LaFleur stated there is "obviously a high level of concern" over the groin injury that Love is dealing with. The team is set to evaluate the quarterback more to determine the extent of the damage.
Interestingly, Love had gone into the blue medical tent earlier in the game, but came out and rejoined the team. Despite no injury designation at the time, and Love not appearing on the injury report, he may have been dealing with this groin injury heading into the game.

This is just speculation, but the shove that Love took was not something that should have caused him to injure his groin to the extent that it led to his having to exit the game. Then again, maybe there was some force behind that shove that was not apparent to those just watching the game.
What makes this situation concerning is the fact that LaFleur had to speak about the injury to Love in a more dramatic way. There appears to be something going on with the quarterback that might not be known at this time.
Losing Love will be tough to deal with it, as the Packers are attempting to keep up with the tough NFC North division. Every team has a positive record, and the Packers are a loss behind the division-leading Detroit Lions, who are currently 6-1 on the season.
The Minnesota Vikings are also right behind the Packers with a 5-2 record. The entire division could find its way into the playoffs if it continues at this pace. Still, the Packers are fighting to land the division crown.
The Packers will face the Lions on Sunday and then have a much-needed bye week. Should Love be held out of Week 9, he might be able to heal in time to rejoin the team in Week 11 when they face the Chicago Bears.
