When the Green Bay Packers take the field on Sunday for their Week 3 matchup with the Tennessee Titans, they will be doing so another week without starting quarterback Jordan Love. After suffering an MCL injury in Week 1 of the season, Love has remained out while he rehabs.

There was some thought that Love could return this week as he got back to practicing. But the Packers decided that he wasn't fully ready to suit up and will allow their franchise quarterback to sit for another week.

In his absence, Green Bay will again turn to backup Malik Willis. Willis started for the Packers last week against the Indianapolis Colts, leading them to a big victory.

He threw for 122 yards and one touchdown, showing decent command of the offensive attack. Willis will be tasked with helping Green Bay stay afloat without Love and he will get to do so against his old team.

With Willis making the start, it could end up being a revenge game for him. Tennessee selected him in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, with many expecting him to be the next face of the Titans.

However, things didn't work out for the signal-caller in Tennesee and he was traded to Green Bay this offseason. Willis spoke about the potential of a revenge game against the Titans but downplayed it all.

"I could care less, bro," Willis told reporters Wednesday, via Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. "I think I got paid the whole time I was there. I'm more than blessed for the opportunity they've given me. They brought me into this league, whether those guys are there or not. That organization, they took a shot on me. Miss Amy, they (did) a great job by me, for all I'm concerned."

The young signal-caller knows that this is his chance to prove he belongs as a starter in the NFL, even if it's not with Green Bay. Other teams are watching his performance closely and it could lead to another opportunity down the line.

After this game with the Titans, the Packers have a big NFC North rivalry game next week. They will be hosting the Minnesota Vikings so making sure Love is healthy for that matchup does make sense.
