After suffering what looked to be a pretty bad injury in Week 1 of the new NFL season, there was some thought that Green Bay Packers starting quarterback Jordan Love would be out for an extended period of time.
Stunningly, it seems that Love could now suit up for the Packers again as early as this coming weekend against the Tennessee Titans.
ESPN Staff Writer Rob Demovsky reported the news.
"Twelve days after suffering a left knee injury in the season opener, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love returned to the practice field and left open the possibility of playing Sunday at the Tennessee Titans," Demovsky wrote.
If Love were to be able to return, it could be one of the more fascinating stories of the entire season. He suffered a sprained MCL injury and was expected to be out for at least one month, if not longer.

Love spoke about the possibility of his return this week and how he has been feeling.
"The trainers are seeing everything I'm doing and they're not gonna put me out there unless they feel confident that I can protect myself," Love said Wednesday. "But at the same time, that's why it's good to get some practice reps in and get that feel of what it's like again."
Packers backup quarterback Malik Willis, who helped Green Bay get the win over the Indianapolis Colts last week, said that he wouldn't be surprised if Love does play against Tennessee.
"You can see that he feels more comfortable just moving around the building, the way he was out there today," Willis said. "I wouldn't be surprised [if Love plays]. I just have to stay ready and focus on what I can control [and] leave it up to him and Coach [Matt] LaFleur."
Love still needs to get medical clearance to play this weekend, but his return to the practice field does signal that he could be back sooner rather than later. Green Bay may want to hold him out for one more week, just to be safe.
He is their franchise quarterback after all, and the last thing they want is to have this issue flare up even more. But it seems that Packers fans can breathe a little easier, at least for the time being.
