The Los Angeles Rams made a massive splash before the NFL free agency tampering window even opened.

Amid the Cooper Kupp rumors, the Rams went out and brought in his replacement. They were able to land superstar wide receiver Davante Adams on a major two-year contract worth $46 million.

Bringing Adams in will form a lethal wide receiver duo alongside Puka Nacua. There is no bigger winner from the move than quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Adams was released by the New York Jets before signing with Los Angeles. It was a move that had been expected since the Jets also made the decision to move on from Aaron Rodgers.

Now, he's set to play on the West Coast, which is something that he wanted and will look to help make the Rams a Super Bowl contender once again.

Nacua is also a big fan of the move. He was a fan of Rodgers and Adams during their time with the Green Bay Packers. Being able to play alongside Adams is something that the 23-year-old star wideout is excited about.

During an appearance on the "Pat McAfee Show" on Monday, Nacua shared his thoughts about the move.

"I grew up a fan of Davante Adams and it's surreal that I'm gonna be lining up with him," Nacua said. "He's out of the country right now but I connected with him yesterday."

Looking at the numbers for both star wide receivers, Los Angeles will be in a great place offensively.

During the 2024 NFL season with the Rams, Nacua ended up playing in 11 games. He caught 79 passes for 990 yards and three touchdowns. As a rookie in 2023, he totaled 105 receptions for 1,486 yards and six scores.

On the other hand, Adams proved that he still has a lot of football left in his tank last year. In a season split between New York and the Las Vegas Raiders, he racked up 85 catches for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns.

Between the two star wide receivers, opposing defenses are going to have nightmares. Regardless of who an opponent tries to take away, the other receiver should have a very favorable matchup.

Expect to see this pairing end up dominating in 2025. Assuming they both stay healthy, Los Angeles is going to get big-time production from them. Stafford should be in line for a huge year as well.
