The Las Vegas Raiders are signing former Pro Bowl running back Raheem Mostert to a one-year deal, per Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz.

Mostert was released by the Miami Dolphins earlier this offseason, and now finds a new home in a revamped offense in Las Vegas. He joins Miami on a one-year, $2.1 million deal.

Mostert, 32, is coming off a 2024 season with Miami in which he ran 85 times for 278 yards and two touchdowns as the backup running back to De'Von Achane.

Just two years ago, though, Mostert set career-highs in rush attempts (209), rushing yards (1,012), and rushing touchdowns (18), as he earned the first and only Pro Bowl honor of his career. He had a league-leading 21 total touchdowns on the year.

Mostert joined Miami in 2022 and enjoyed the two best seasons of his career across the '22 and '23 seasons.

Mostert's career began back in 2015 when he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue.

He bounced around from the Eagles to the Dolphins to the Baltimore Ravens to the Cleveland Browns to the New York Jets to the Chicago Bears before finally landing with the San Francisco 49ers, where he got his career off the ground.

Mostert joined the 49ers in 2016 under head coach Chip Kelly, who's now the offensive coordinator for the Raiders.

He consistently improved each year under new head coach Kyle Shanahan before breaking out in 2019, rushing 137 times for 772 yards and eight touchdowns. He had a dominant postseason performance that season, rushing for 220 yards and four touchdowns against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game.

Mostert remained with the 49ers through the 2021 season before spending the last three years in Miami. Now, he's getting an opportunity on a Raiders team in desperate need of a running back.

The Raiders opened the 2024 season with Zamir White as the starting running back, but he struggled mightily and ended up plummeting down the depth chart.

Veteran Alexander Mattison wound up leading the team with 420 rushing yards on 132 carries. Second behind him was veteran Ameer Abdullah, who had 311 yards on 66 carries.

Mostert will have an opportunity to immediately take the reins in the Vegas backfield, and help fix a run game that was worst in the league in 2024 with just 1,357 rushing yards. The New York Jets were 31st with 1,561 rushing yards.
